About
During my freelance work with Crossplatform, I worked on a startup project called Parkera. The core concept behind the app was to connect individuals who had available parking spots with those in need of parking.
Parkera aimed to revolutionise the way people utilised parking spaces by enabling seamless rental transactions between individuals. As the gig economy continues to thrive, the app provided an efficient and convenient solution for people seeking parking options in busy areas.
With Parkera, users could easily list their unused parking spots for rent, unlocking a potential source of income while helping alleviate parking challenges in congested areas. The app facilitated secure transactions, ensuring a trustworthy and reliable experience for both parties involved.
Throughout the development process, my focus was on creating a user-friendly interface that streamlined the listing and booking processes.
A robust backend system was implemented to handle payments, scheduling, and user verification, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all users.
Parkera represented an exciting opportunity to address a common problem while harnessing the power of the sharing economy.
By offering a reliable platform for parking spot rentals, the app aimed to enhance convenience and maximise the utilisation of available parking spaces, ultimately benefiting both providers and seekers of parking solutions.
